The con?guration of a Carbon Nano Tube (CNT) ?eld-emitter tube differs signi?cantly from traditional thermionic tubes. The CNT emitter in an X-ray tube consists of a large number of CNTs arranged vertically on a conductive substrate and replaces the traditional ?lament.
